Picasa is responsible for landing me in the world of the blogger. For starters, here's a collage compiled of some of my photos of various bits of Virgin Trains stock. Not because I like VT particularly, but you've got to start somewhere.
87031 represents one of the last of its class in passenger service (seen here at Euston), a trio of Voyagers - at Oxford, Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly - stand for the dull world that cross-country rail travel has now become, and the Pendolinos ('Pendos') at Birmingham New Street, Cheddington and Coventry might suggest that the heady optimism of BR's 1970s/80s 'Age of the Train' is back again. Perhaps.
